Afterschool and Weekend Academy
The Department of Education is beginning an Afterschool and Weekend Academy programs for the 2024-2025 SY. If your child requires any make-up sessions (Occupational Therapy, Speech or Compensatory sessions) they will be able to receive support through this program. At this time you should have already received information about Weekend and Afterschool Academy via email or from their school/NYCPS representative should complete this survey.
You will need your child’s 9-digit NYC Student ID number to complete the survey. You can find this number on your child’s IEP or by logging in to your NYC Schools Account at https://www.schoolsaccount.nyc/ and selecting “Student.” If you are unable to locate your child’s ID number, (can check their ID cards) please contact your child’s school/program, CSE, or CPSE.

Please complete the Afterschool and Weekend Academy Survey to arrange services for their child at one of the Academy sites. The program will run from December 14, 2024-June 15, 2025. Afterschool Academy will operate between the hours of 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m., while Saturday and Sunday Academies will operate between the hours of 8:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m. Metro cards will be provided upon request by parents.
